Meet the makers.
MS Wood is the father–son duo of Matt and Micah, working side by side to create custom timber furniture of the highest quality. With a shared passion for craftsmanship and design, they bring traditional skills and fresh ideas together to build pieces that are as enduring as they are beautiful.
Matt
Designer, Joiner & Founder
Matt has been working with timber for over 30 years and is a qualified cabinet maker. He founded MS Wood in 2016 to share his passion for handcrafted furniture with others. Today, Matt continues to lead MS Wood, collaborating with clients on the design process to meet their vision and is still hands on crafting each piece in our workshop.
Micah
Joiner
Micah has always wanted to work with his hands, and spent lots of time in our workshop during high school starting him on his creative path. Micah began a carpentry/joinery apprenticeship elsewhere and after completing his trade, he returned to the family business and his hands and heart are behind many of our pieces of beautiful furniture.
